I figure one post per month for the year plus I haven't blogged will do it. Here are a few pictures from April 2010. Liam was 11 months old. Previously documented highlights of the month included Will's first visit to General Conference, visiting Auntie Kathy and Sheba in Albuquerque and a trip to Denver for a marathon major league sports day (the Rockies and the Avs).
We went on an overnighter to Salt Lake to use a Marriott reward, swim at the pool and eat at the Melting Pot.
 |
| Liam eating flowers. He has since outgrown that habit. |
 |
| I can't figure out an easy way to rotate pictures and I'm in jeopardy of just giving up on this post, so turn your head to see his cute grin. It's crazy how tiny he seems. |
 |
| Eating at the Melting Pot. He was surprisingly well-behaved. |
 |
| Getting ready to head to the pool. He was (and still is) quite a water aficionado. |
 |
| In grandma and grandpa's bath. We miss it! |
We also threw Jenny (my brother Ross' wife of now more than one year) a bridal shower in April. It was a fun time - my sisters may never forgive me for insisting they help me make hundreds of bite-sized desserts. I was a little over ambitious and that was even pre-Pinterest.
 |
| Ross was clearly very excited! |
 |
| And Jenny slightly skeptical (with reason). |
 |
| Liam at 11 months - not walking, but pushing his wagon across the room. |
Well, that was April 2010. Only about 15 more months to go. Hopefully I can get through these catch-up posts pretty quickly.

A couple things....
1. Henry has that exact same wagon and we LOVE it! He pushed it ALL over the place.
2. Can we meet you at The Melting Pot sometime? Let us know when you are headed back!
3. Happy to see you up and blogging again!
I have that Residence Inn chair in my cubicle. Sad that I can spot Marriott furniture anywhere. Liam is adorable!
Yep. Not sure I will ever forgive you for that food at the shower. Liam seems so small from these pictures. I loved being his "mom" for a few hours this weekend. Even though he didn't love me so much when I made him go to bed before everyone else and take a nap when no one else was doing it. I hope he will forgive me. Love you!
Cherie -
1. We love that wagon, Daisy's just starting to play with it and it is so fun. Liam still loads it with all kinds of toys.
2. Definitely. I just went with my sisters for Dine-O-Round, but I am easily wooed by fondue.
3. Thanks. I owe you a phone call. Hopefully it will happen tomorrow. If not, when I get back from Texas next week.
Smash - maybe we'll have to come visit your cubicle some day. Residence Inn is our favorite!
Megan - you'll forgive me when the food at your shower is even more intricate and amazing and you don't have to make it! Thanks for all you do for our kids, they love you!
